Short-text response
Prunus serotina (wild cherry bark) has been used by professional herbalists safely and affectively for hundreds of years. In the context of clinical herbal medicine, this herb would never be prescribed at the kind of dosage that would cause any endangerment to health in terms of amygdalin.
Perhaps, if this Herb were to be made available to professional registered herbalists only and only within a specified dosage range, this would ameliorate any risks to the general public. I do not believe that this herb should be available for off-the-shelf consumer purchase, however a degree qualified herbalist will know how to safely prescribe this Botanical.
